Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I look after my candle?
We recommend a few things to get the most out of your glass candle.
+ Burn your candle all the way to the edge (especially on the first burn)
+ Trim your wick to 1/4” (1cm) before every burn
+ Don’t burn your candle for longer than 4 hours and always keep it within sight
+ Stop burning the candle when the wax is 1/4” (1cm) from the base of the vessel
How do I reuse my vessel?
Soy wax is a soft wax, so it’s easy to clean out your jar for reuse. We recommend using a soft utensil (like chopsticks) to break up the wax a little. Then pour in very hot water to melt the wax. Soy wax is biodegradable so you can put the wax in the compost! As for the metal wick tab and cotton wick, please put these in the garbage. Once most of the wax has been cleaned out of the vessel, you can run it through the dishwasher or give it a scrub with soap and hot water. If your wick tab is being tricky, pour some rubbing alcohol into the bottom of the vessel and it’ll pop out. Rubbing alcohol is also great at removing any excess wax residue.
Here are some reusable suggestions:
+ pour yourself a drink
+ store small items
+ plant a plant
+ use it as a vase
